As one of the most visited Tasmanian attractions, the AirWalk offers spectacular views of the state’s famous Southern Forests as you walk 20 metres above the forest floor.

Enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the trees and river as you journey through this stunning wet eucalypt forest.

Extending an impressive 597m the AirWalk is a truly unique experience to be enjoyed in Tasmania. Some of the tree species visible include the tall eucalypts, celery top, King Billy pine, blackwood, sassafras, beech, myrtle, flowering leatherwood and the gigantic Huon pines which date back to over a thousand years.

The walk is approximately 1.6km’s return and walkers should allow 50-minutes return for this trip.

Transport is provided to the start of the AirWalk for those with walking difficulties. Wheelchair users can travel in their own vehicle to the start of AirWalk entrance and wheelchairs can be safely pushed along the AirWalk.
