This is a follow-up to the blog “Philippe Bednarek: The President Who Can’t Stop Digging.”

When I published my exposé blog about Philippe Bednarek, President of StepChain and long-time associate of Rory Conacher, I expected some backlash. After all, I confronted a man who falsely accused me of being a child molester — not just privately, but on a recorded phone call.

What I didn’t expect was the ongoing stream of WhatsApp messages from Bednarek himself — personal insults, taunts, and condescending remarks that you’d expect from a playground bully, not a so-called professional.

Let’s be clear: I have nothing to hide. I wear my reputation, my work, and even my past out in the open. I’m proud of what I do: exposing scammers, protecting investors, and holding dodgy operators to account. But since Philippe Bednarek seems determined to keep digging, it’s only right I respond with total transparency once again.

And here’s the truth: deflection is a textbook scammer tactic. I’ve been busting scams for a long time, and I’ve seen this play out over and over. It’s apparently fine to mislead the public, push shady tokens, and hide behind MLM smoke screens — just as long as you can paint the whistleblower as the real threat. The moment you shine a light on their operations, they come after you. It’s a tired, desperate move. And it never works.

The WhatsApp War Begins

After our explosive phone call was made public (embedded in the original blog), Bednarek decided to engage me directly. His opening shot?

“I have the same recording ”

Threat or reassurance? Either way, he opened the chat like a mafia boss trying to play it cool.

I responded by doing what I do best: pointing out red flags. I noted that several developers behind his project appear to be based in Pakistan — a detail that raised eyebrows given my prior reporting on groups like Abtach Ltd, Azneem Bilwani, and other reputation management firms known for working with shady crypto platforms. I shared the following blog:

To be clear: I am not accusing StepChain of working directly with Abtach. But Philippe didn’t ask for clarification. He didn’t deny or explain. Instead, he got more personal. More aggressive. And far more revealing.

Insults Over Evidence

At no point has Philippe Bednarek provided evidence for his vile accusations. Instead, he kept the low blows coming:

“Now I am told you are a Child Pornographer?? Canterbury’s Elders are right: you are a disgusting pervert”
“You are a predator and my mission is to uncover your disgusting vices and let the public know.”
“Stay away from schools, rat face.”
“What happened to your sister, rat face?”
“Using my app would be good to eliminate your pregnant woman belly.”
“I just find you physically repulsive and the idea of you approaching children makes me sick.”

Now let’s pause here.

My sister — whom Philippe weaponised in these messages — died tragically after 20 years of drug addiction, deeply shaped by the religious cult environment we grew up in. She died by suicide at 36 — the exact same age and date as my stepfather, who also took his life. I’ve publicly written about this on my blog. I have no secrets. I’ve always spoken openly about these events in the hope that doing so might help others who suffer.

For Philippe Bednarek to use this personal pain in a string of attacks? That says more about him than it ever will about me.

This isn’t just defamation — it’s obsession. Bednarek seems more interested in my appearance, my family, and my past than answering any of the dozens of legitimate questions I’ve raised about StepChain.

Who I Am — And Why These Attacks Don’t Work

Being a YouTuber has given me a platform to connect with my audience, and I’ve used it to be fully transparent. I wasn’t brought up in a happy family. My real father left when I was two and a half — he was an alcoholic, so honestly, it was a blessing. My mum remarried when I was seven, and 18 months later, my stepfather died by suicide at 36 — the same age and exact same day my sister later passed away.

I spent my youth knocking on doors as a Jehovah’s Witness, believing the world was going to end. I couldn’t join sports, celebrate holidays, or associate with classmates. School was tough. I struggled with reading and writing, got bullied, and feared being outed as a Witness. I left school at 14. No one would hire me, so I went door-to-door offering to mow lawns and clean gutters. My first real break came when I got an apprenticeship as a painter and decorator. I did that for 10 years.

I was disfellowshipped from the religion for premarital sex. It felt devastating at the time, but eventually I found the real truth. I sold everything, bought a laptop, and hitchhiked around New Zealand, calling myself a “mobile internet consultant.” I built a business (New Zealand’s Information Network) and made a six-figure income for a decade.

I got married. I got divorced. I embraced technology. And I worked hard for everything I’ve done. So when someone like Philippe mocks my appearance, my age, or the way I pronounce words — it really is water off a duck’s back. I’m from the school of hard knocks.

Even my own mother has disowned me — she wants me to return to the Jehovah’s Witness religion. I once said to her, “I could’ve died by suicide.” Her answer? “At least you’d get a resurrection.” That sums up the kind of ‘love’ that comes with cult thinking.

So let’s put this in perspective: I’ve been gaslit by people pushing religious extremism and financial scams. I’ve seen both. And now I see people in Zoom calls claiming to offer “financial freedom” in exchange for your actual finances. They don’t build ethical businesses — they build cult-like communities. They don’t answer questions — they deflect.

And when people like me expose them, they don’t fight with facts — they hurl personal insults. Is that really the best you’ve got?

The Bluffing ‘President’

He even tried intimidation:

“You will be soon even more famous but not for the same reasons.”
“Watch what is coming.”
“Stay tuned, rat face.”
“Go clean windows… away from schools.”

This is supposed to be the President of a blockchain company. A man who claims to run a tech platform. Yet this is how he communicates when challenged?

Let’s rewind: my first blog didn’t attack him personally. It asked basic questions about StepChain’s legitimacy, especially his ties to Rory Conacher — a man linked to Ponzi schemes, fake legal threats, and investment fraud.

Instead of offering transparency, Philippe went nuclear. Insults, gaslighting, deflection — anything but answers.

The Big Picture

If this is how StepChain’s leadership handles scrutiny, imagine how they deal with real investors, whistleblowers, or partners behind closed doors.

Philippe Bednarek has now:

  • Publicly accused me of child abuse with zero evidence
  • Mocked my family tragedies
  • Obsessed over my physical appearance
  • Threatened future attacks without substance
  • Ignored every opportunity to provide facts

This isn’t just immature — it’s unhinged. And it’s the behaviour of someone who knows the walls are closing in.

If you’re involved in StepChain, SCC tokens, or any platform Philippe is promoting — take this as your warning.

Because when someone shows you who they are, believe them.

I’ll keep documenting. I’ll keep publishing. And I will not back down.
