DANNY DE HEKIf you’ve stumbled across SmartPlus — whether it was through their slick website, their YouTube channel full of fluff, or some overpolished Instagram post claiming they can help you reach “Financial Fullness” — then sit tight. Because I’ve done the deep dive they hope you won’t.

And what I found? It’s textbook MLM marketing, layered in cult-like language, vague promises, and a three-tier pyramid scheme structure designed to extract your money while pretending to educate you.

Let’s unpack this.

The First Red Flag: Vague, Feel-Good Branding With Zero Transparency

SmartPlus calls itself a “Global Financial Transformation Platform” — but nowhere on their website do they list:

  • A registered company name
  • A physical address
  • A licensing body
  • Any regulatory affiliation with a legitimate financial authority

Instead, they parade phrases like “Plenitud Financiera” (Financial Fullness), “Discover your potential”, and “Join our community of Smarters” — all vague emotional hooks designed to groom you into thinking this is a movement, not a money-making machine for the people at the top.

The “Education” Product Is a Front

Let’s talk about Smart+ Academy — their supposed education platform. It offers:

  • 20+ hours of content (you could binge that in a weekend)
  • No curriculum
  • No preview modules
  • No trainer credentials
  • No certifications

In other words, no value — just enough material to claim there’s a “product” and dodge regulators. That’s the classic MLM smoke screen: pretend you’re “learning” while being prepped to recruit the next sucker.

Smart+ Key = Recruitment Coaching Disguised as Networking

Once inside, members are invited into the Smart+ Key level — described as a “360° networking and development methodology.”

What does that actually mean?

It means you’re now being trained to recruit others. They spin it as “community growth,” “business opportunity development,” and “connecting with innovative people” — but don’t be fooled.

This is where the MLM structure begins to show. The language shifts from “learn” to “grow your network.” In this business model, you are the product.

Smart+ Innovator = The Cash Grab Phase

The final tier is Smart+ Innovator — a program for “diversifying wealth” and launching “productive projects” that don’t require “personal effort.”

Sound familiar?

This is where they start using buzzwords like “passive income,” “investor partnerships,” and “entrepreneurship” without ever naming:

  • What those investments are
  • Where your money goes
  • What legal protections you have
  • What the risks are

Spoiler: there are no projects. It’s a placeholder for any scam they can attach — crypto tokens, real estate, AI bots — you name it.

The Cult Is Strong With This One

Their “Who We Are” page reads like it was written by someone trying to replicate Success Factory or IM Academy. They don’t describe a business model — they describe a movement. You’re told to “believe,” to join the “evolving species of Smarters,” to “amplify your confidence.”

It’s not about knowledge. It’s about emotional surrender.

Their testimonials follow the same script:

  • “Smart+ changed my life.”
  • “It’s more than a company. It’s a community.”
  • “I now feel confident and free.”

All generic. No one mentions what they actually did. No mention of how much money they made, what skills they gained, or what product they used. It’s the same narrative engineering used in culty MLMs around the world.

The YouTube Channel Is a Red Flag Machine

Their YouTube channel has 89 videos and 14K subscribers, but barely any views per post. Titles like:

  • “Purposeful Growth,”
  • “Instant Success is a Myth,”
  • “Resignifying Failure,”
  • “Financial Harmony”

…are nothing but motivational jargon with zero instructional value.

Even their “How to Affiliate” video doesn’t explain the compensation plan — it’s just another layer of scripted positivity. They never show:

  • Profit/loss statements
  • Real businesses created
  • Any income beyond referrals

Instagram Presence Is Just More Propaganda

The @smartplus.inc Instagram profile is another arm of their reputation management system. Their April 2025 activity focuses on reinforcing the community narrative and posting event highlights — not educating, not supporting transparency, and definitely not showcasing verified success stories.

The Mexico Government Has Already Warned About Them

Let’s not forget: Mexico’s financial authorities have warned the public about Smart Business Corp, the entity tied to SmartPlus’s operations. Yet SmartPlus continues to push into new markets under the same model.

When government agencies start ringing alarm bells, and the company keeps dodging direct questions — that’s all you need to know.

Final Verdict: SmartPlus Is a Cult-Coated MLM Trap

What SmartPlus offers isn’t financial transformation — it’s financial grooming.

They’ve slapped a coat of motivational paint over an MLM structure, using vague “education” and hollow promises of “passive income” to pull people in. From top to bottom, this is:

  • Unregulated
  • Unverified
  • Emotionally manipulative
  • Structurally designed for the few at the top to profit from the many at the bottom

If you’ve been invited to SmartPlus, ask yourself this:

Where is the money really coming from? And where will it go when the hype dies down?
